Farm Tour Featuring Veteran Farm Assistance Projects with Army Veteran and Farmer Gregg DeBoer

Join us on Saturday, June 20th from 9am to 12pm, for a tour on Gregg DeBoer’s farm in Arab, Alabama as he showcases multiple farm projects funded by USDA and other veteran assistance programs. These projects are available to farmers through loans and grants of federal and non-profit programs. Learn how you can take advantage of these programs to improve your farm, speak directly to program representatives including Farm Service agents, NRCS agents, and non-profit program representatives, and network with other military veteran farmers.

Projects to be showcased include: cross fencing, automatic watering stations, feeding pads, tractor equipment, cattle chute, and more.

Lunch included.

COVID-19 safety precautions include: open-air event, social distancing, provision of masks and gloves, and a non-buffet meal.
